Kristina Hewlett
As co-owner of Cook St Village Laser, Kristina Hewlett offers each client a customized & personal approach to their skin care, age management or hair restoration needs. Whether it is Kristina’s extensive knowledge and experience with medical-grade lasers, ongoing advanced training in medical esthetics in the US and Canada each year, the development and management of wellness spas, her travels abroad, or her personal and professional experience in sourcing the best skin products, Kristina’s desire to educate her clients and de-mystify what is just good common sense skin care sets her apart from other professionals in the industry.
Kristina’s passion for healthy skin care began with researching alternatives to antibiotics and sensitizing topical products or medications as a result of personally suffering for years with acne rosacea and excema and then subsequently prematurely aged skin. Each product that is used and sold within the clinic has been personally tested and researched by Kristina. She believes in healthy, clean choices for skin care and wellness, combining the best elements from science and nature.
With the help of co-owner, Dr. Steven Gordon, their skin care team and skin care products, Kristina has developed two highly effective treatment protocols for acne and rosacea that have consistently been providing long-lasting results for clients that have suffered with these conditions for years with no success from conventional treatments.
To maintain a healthy balance between family life and running a business, Kristina enjoys travel, music, dance, fresh air, everything organic and gourmet, interior design (and as her clients and friends know this means never ending home renovations) and spending time with her friends and family. Her young daughter, Sofia, is a constant source of joy and learning in her life.
Alana Delcourt

Alana is the Laser Group's Licensed Medical Esthetician and Podologist with over 10 years experience in the field of esthetics. She is a graduate of the prestigious, Blanche MacDonald Centre in Vancouver and has worked in esthetics as a practitioner, celebrity skin care specialist and as a manager at some of BC's most renowned spas. These include Ancient Cedars Spa at the Wickaninnish Inn, Willow Stream Spa at the Fairmont Empress, Vida Wellness Spa at the Sheraton Wall Centre, The Sutton Place Hotel and The Sidney Pier Hotel. With a true passion for the industry, Alana's ongoing interest in developing her skill set naturally progressed her into laser skin care, laser hair removal and medical esthetics where she has continued to expand her career in Victoria. Alana has extensive training, advanced product knowledge and many successes within the laser and skin care industry. Recent training includes Advanced European Foot Care, specializing in diabetic foot care and everything foot-health related! Having also suffered with severe acne, Alana has worked hard to educate herself and her clients, providing the skills, treatments and advanced product knowledge to combat acne.
Alana believes in the treatment of the skin as an ecosystem, which fits in well with the philosophy of the Cook Street Village Health Centre's integrated practices. She specializes in advanced skin care, acne therapy and laser hair removal, and attends several seminars, workshops and courses annually, to keep up with this evolving industry.
Having fun, walking her puppies and enjoying life on the beautiful West Coast are just a few of Alana's many interests.

Libby Ferris
Libby is a 12 year resident of Victoria, BC, where she has run a successful hair removal business for over 5 years and worked in the dental field for over 8 years. Both careers have fulfilled Libby's passion for working with people and providing an exceptional level of personal care. Applying her medical and esthetic training to the comprehensive training of our laser program has been gratifying and inspiring.
Libby's skill, comfort and knowledge allow her to provide a safe, comfortable and effective treatment. Her clients report feeling at ease and comfortable with her professional, clinical approach to laser hair removal, LimeLight (IPL) and Laser Genesis and appreciate her confidence, sweet and caring demeanor and experience.
Libby's main focus in life is finding balance between family, work, health and community. Libby and her husband Luke, along with their two boys are an active west coast family that enjoy many adventures skiing, camping, travelling and biking. She is also enjoys the regular practice of Bikram's yoga.
Dionne Mears
Dionne has been a professional make-up artist for the past five years and is a graduate of the prestigious Blanche MacDonald Centre in Vancouver. She has worked in the cosmetic industry for many years on fashion shows, photo shoots, TV commercials, weddings and managing a cosmetics store and spa.
Having worked closely with a diverse group of people she realized it all comes down to how a person feels on the inside, the confidence you see in someone who feels good about the way they look. It was a natural progression into the medical cosmetic field. Researching and training with a physician in Vancouver she did just that.
Now she can add laser technician to her list of qualified talents. Dionne is a reliable resource in mineral make-up and skin care products. She specializes in age management, skin rejuvenation and laser hair removal. With on-going education in this evolving industry clients can obtain the most accurate and up-to-date information. Helping her clients achieve and maintain their desired skin health with the highest standard of client care service is her passion.
Exploring her new home on Vancouver Island, travel, fashion, Interior design, real estate and learning to prepare gourmet cuisine are just some of Dionne’s many interests. She also volunteers her time and services to a variety of charities and support groups in Victoria such as The Women’s Transition House and Wear to Start.
